LUXURIOUS PATTERNED DIAL

The AVIATOR Douglas Day Date 41 dial features a subtle 3D pattern with volumetric markings and an elegantly curved window indicating the day. Since visibility and readability are key attributes, the Douglas Day Date 41 collection unites Art Deco design and function – from bold perfectly polished Roman numerals to the two elevated instrumental rings with luminous indexes that are inspired from the cockpit. With its deep and fine grooves, the pattern of the dial recreates stunning color reflections reminiscent to metal silk effect and symbolize a timeless sophistication.

POLISHED TO PERFECTION

The case is comprised of three symmetrical parts: bezel, body case, back case. Hand-finished with fine watchmaking techniques, its rounded curves are inspired by the graceful sophistication of the Douglas aircraft’s fuselage. Its stunning, mirror-polished surfaces are streamlined by ergonomically sleek lines. And its curved lugs exemplify an elegance from yesteryears, while ensuring a proper fit perfect on any wrist. MEET A NEW AVIATOR CALIBRE AV-1000

At the heart of this timepiece is the newest AVIATOR’s AV-1000 calibre based on the Sellita SW 240-2, the most known, Swiss-made mechanical movement. The AV-1000 caliber is crafted with a fusion of advanced technology and aesthetics. With functionality at its core, the movement features the weekday and date indications. Not to mention, the Incabloc system superbly protects the movement from shocks and bumps. Meanwhile, the oversized and beautifully crafted rotor replicates the pattern of the dial to maintain the art-deco style on both front and back of the watch.
