The water-resistance of a watch cannot be permanently guaranteed. It may notably be affected by the ageing of gaskets or by accidental damage to the crown. It is recommended to have your watch checked for water-resistance at least once every year at an authorized AVIATOR service center.
The watch is built to withstand extreme temperatures from -20 C to 60 C. The wearer shall avoid the prolonged use of the watch beyond these 2 extreme temperature points.
To prevent water from leaking into your AVIATOR Watch, do not use chronograph pushers underwater.
To preserve your leather straps for as long as possible, AVIATOR recommends to follow the below tips in order:
- Avoid contact with water and dampness to prevent discoloration and deformation unless it is a special water resistant leather strap.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to the direct sunlight to prevent color from fading.
- Leather is permeable. Therefore, avoid contact with cosmetic products or oily substances.
Every AVIATOR watch has the anti-reflective coating on the sapphire crystal to ensure perfect visibility of the watch dial. However, wear and tear may cause marks to appear. These are considered normal, and therefore, not covered by the warranty.
