THE MOON & STARS AT YOUR COMMAND

The Golden Age of Flight ushered in a new level of sophistication in travel. High fashion designers brought extravagance and couture to steel aircraft designs and cabin crew outfits. Overnight flights aboard the Douglas DC-3 came with luxurious amenities and the magnificent mystique of the moon at their window﹘from sunset to sunrise. Inspired by this era of luxury and the moon’s mysterious allure, AVIATOR MoonFlight puts elegance by your side. Its vintage color palette, polished streamlined surfaces, and sunray guilloche are indeed very 1930s. The clouds, set in pristine mother of pearl, evoke a beautiful simplicity with a wink to flapper fashion, while the mesmerizing moon phases disc captures the night sky as it shined many moons ago and for many moons to come.

PEARLY CLOUDS

Intrigue is in the details when you take a closer look at the moon. Serving as the aperture for the moon phase indicators, the clouds are embellished with genuine mother of pearl. This subtle reminder of the simple beauty and classic look of a strand of pearls in 1930s fashion adds to the vintage charm of this timeless accessory. With its playful iridescence, the stunning color reflections recreate the impression of moonlight. Sneak a peek at the moonlight flirting with the clouds and playing with reflections that are as realistic as a starry night sky.

FOLLOW THE MOON

Throughout its eight phases, the moon has been known to work its mischief, affecting sleep patterns and mindsets to rising sea tides and syncing lunar cycles. The AVIATOR MoonFlight is designed to help you keep track of the many phases of the moon that repeat every 29.5 days. Even keep track of your own phases while you watch the transformation unfold, in minute-by-minute detail, right on your wrist.

THE FACE OF ART DECO

The dial represents the pinnacle of Art Deco fashion and design philosophy. Intense sunray finishing, diamond-finished indexes, and genuine mother of pearl create a soft yet mysterious, bold yet sophisticated ensemble. Drawing a second glance at your wrist is the dial’s most noticeable feature—the moon phase disc is framed in a bed of clouds, guilloche finishing, and a depth-perception(3D) design to getting lost along the horizon. Not to mention, the elegantly polished rivets along the minute railroad track are a nod to the aircrafts from the golden age of aviation.

POLISHED TO PERFECTION

The case consists of three symmetrical parts: bezel, body case, back case. Hand-finished with fine watchmaking techniques, its rounded curves are inspired by the graceful sophistication of the Douglas aircraft’s fuselage. While its mirror-polished surfaces are streamlined by ergonomically sleek lines, its 36mm size and curved lugs also offer a perfectly comfortable fit on any wrist. One glance is all it takes to get drawn in to all its vintage design and mesmerizing reflections.

DANCE IN THE MOONLIGHT

Once in a blue moon, you’ll see a different hue up in the night sky. The moon can appear in a range of pastel pinks, pale oranges, vivid reds, and bright yellows. To celebrate its versatile beauty, the AVIATOR MoonFlight highlights the vintage rainbow of colors from the moon’s genuine moon rock gray, playing with various tones from pink to a vintage color palette of Moonlight Jade, Beige Champagne, Rose Taupe, and Imperial Jade.

ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE SKY

There’s a story behind every AVIATOR watch. Turn the MoonFlight around and on its case back you’ll find an engraving of the luxuriously outfitted Douglas DC-3 guided by the moon’s feminine mystique. Multiple finishing helps breathe life into the engraving with an elegant reflection, and its concave shape offers an incredibly silky feel. Securely fastened with stainless steel screws, you can even start your own story below sea level and look stylish too as it’s water resistant up to 100 meters.
